Two way SMS text services enable you to send and receive SMS text messages and manage responses via your PC, website or application. For example, a sales administrator could send out sales leads to each person in a team. Replies from the sales team would be receive direct to the administrators PC.

This communication messaging tool uses both Mobile Originated (MO) and Mobile Terminated (MT) SMS. ie enabling the sending and receiving of SMS. Messages can be sent and received using HTTP API interfaces.

Using one of the 'Receiving SMS Methods' (Virtual Mobile Numbers) recipients of MT SMS can simply 'reply', allowing clients to receive responses. These numbers can also be used in a number of application scenarios, including:

• requesting information
• competitions
• enterprise messaging
• telematics
• voting

ViaSMS can set you up with a dedicated standard rate number (04XXXXXXXX) where you pay for the message to consumers(MT) and the end consumer pays for the messages to your number (MO).
